*NEW - All Things New (NJ)“All Things New” is a community group for those living in New Jersey, and the first New Jersey community group for our church! The Lord has been so gracious to His people, making us new in Christ and inviting us into a life of renewal together. Our goal is to create a space for intentional community, authentic conversation, and deeper faith as we dive into God’s Word and encourage one another to follow Jesus in every area of life. We believe God is making all things new—and we want to experience that together, right here in New Jersey.
*NEW - DelightDelight is a group for those looking to build deep and rich friendships with followers of Jesus. We want to be a community that embraces Isaiah 55:1-2, responding to God's call to listen and delight in Him. We are a coed group (usually mid 20s to late 30s), who gather weekly to discuss the sermon, share life, and pray together. This is the group for you if you want to live in intentional rhythms of community this year, as you pursue Jesus.
*NEW - Filled to Overflow (UES)Filled to Overflow is a PGYP community group rooted in the promise of Jesus in John 10:10 that says “I have come so that they may have life and have it to the full”. We want to be a people that are so filled with the knowledge and love of Jesus that this overflows into the community around us. We are inspired by the prophecy in Isaiah 61 that says Gods people will “rebuild the ancient ruins… restore the former devastations… [and] renew the ruined cities”. We pray this group is a space to behold the person of Jesus and a source of empowerment for us to walk in His ways. What to expect: prayer, sermon discussion, service, and worship. Psalm 24:1 says “the earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof”. On the Upper East Side as it is in Heaven!
*NEW - In the HeightsOur Community Group meets on Friday evenings in Hamilton Heights, Upper Manhattan. Co-led by two couples with adult children, we are a diverse and welcoming group open to anyone looking to build authentic relationships, grow in faith, and follow Jesus together.
*NEW - Song of AscentSong of Ascent comes from Song of Songs 4 and Psalm 24. This is a group for young adults between the ages of 25-29, who are eager to ascend the hill of the Lord and the mountain of frankincense and myrrh with clean hands and pure hearts. You can expect regular rhythms of contemplative and intercessory prayer, Bible memorization, worship, fasting, confession, and celebrating as we seek consecration with joy. Our desire is that this would be a space that facilitates a depth of genuine fellowship with Jesus and each other. Our gatherings will rotate between three different apartments on the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, and Hamilton Heights.
*NEW - The RefreshThe Refresh is launching out of a desire to build a unit of believers who are committed to walking with Jesus and learning more to honor Him, every week together as a group. This is a mixed group—families, singles, parents, couples—because sometimes the best perspectives come from dynamic gatherings. Life is shared around the table: the highs, the lows, and the promptings of the Spirit. Bring your mess and stress, leave refreshed and ready to lead Kingdom change on the Upper West Side and all throughout our amazing city.
AnchorAnchor is a community group in the Upper West Side for those who seek to delve deeper into their faith and grow in community with other believers. The name of the group is inspired by Hebrews 6:19-20: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf.” This group is a place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives to remain anchored in our faith, both individually and communally, and to move past the shallow parts of our faith and into the depths. We encourage tough questions, authentic conversations, and honest prayers so that we can genuinely grow in faith and become more like Christ together.
Beneath the Apple TreeOur name comes from Song of Songs 2:3 – "As an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my Beloved among all the others." Our heart is to know Jesus in this way, to love Him and be discipled by Him as we navigate the jungle city. This is a group for young people between the ages of 22 to 25 who want to grow in prayer, learn the Word and serve the city. The format will include: Time of sharing and sermon discussion Lectio Divina (Latin for “divine reading,” an ancient practice of engaging with the word of God) Time of prayer (including listening prayer, practicing the prophetic, and intercession)

Prodigals: Upper East SideProdigals is a group for people who long to know the heart of their heavenly Father. Just as Jesus tells the story of the prodigal son returning home to the loving embrace of his earthly father in Luke 15, we want to contend for the Upper East Side of Manhattan to be a place where many people far from the Lord are received with joy into the family of God. We know that all of us, at one point in time, were pursuing our own dreams, desires, and plans outside of a right relationship with God. Instead of leaving us in bondage, the Father rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves. We long for those who feel too broken or unloved to experience adoption into the family of God! Each week we will gather to discuss the sermon series, pray for each other, and contend for God to renew the Upper East side.
Rooted in ChristThis is a group based on John 15:15 “No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you” and Colossians 2:6-7 “Therefore as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." We follow the pattern of the early church in Acts 2:42 “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.” We want to live rooted in love as friends of Jesus by: going deeper in the Word diving deeper in prayer growing deeper in love with Jesus & one another A typical gathering starts with fellowship time and could be spent discussing the sermon, studying a book of the Bible, prayer and worship times, outreach to our neighbors, etc. The hope is to cultivate a space of belonging and vulnerability that is rooted in God’s love. We want to share and live our lives together through good food, intentional prayer, and serving opportunities.
Side by SideThis group is for those on the older end of the age range within COTC, often married couples with adult children or others, married or unmarried, in a similar life stage. We seek to journey side by side with our families, each other, and support the emerging generation within our church and community. We seek and trust Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit to provide all we need as individuals, couples, and as a community.
The HeightsThis group is here to encourage, challenge, and carry one another deeper into the heart of God. As we meet weekly we will study the scripture, pray and worship together, and just hangout! We’re all about vulnerability, light-hearted fun, and bringing the Kingdom to our neighborhood. We are a mixed group of singles / married with varying ages.
The Hundredfold GardenWith a dedication to tilling the soil of our hearts to be the good soil mentioned in the Parable of the Sower, this group aims to walk in the abundant purpose of yielding fruit for the kingdom of God. We also remember Jesus’ words in John 12:24-25, in which He says that unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Our desire is to become a community that doesn’t live for ourselves, but lays our lives down for the sake of the gospel so that many would come to know Jesus and experience His love. Join us as we grow deep roots and bear much fruit— a hundredfold!
