Prayer Team Application

This ministry exists to host God and host people. We are dedicated to seeing the fame and deeds of God renewed and known in our time (Habakkuk 3:2). We pursue this by hosting the presence of God through prayer and worship in the prayer room and contending for the purposes of God for our church through our Sunday prayer teams. Join us to be trained to serve in pre-service prayer, lingering, or in the prayer room. Thank you for considering serving in this way!

IMPORTANT NOTE

Before joining the Prayer Team, we ask that applicants have established rhythms of weekly prayer room attendance and connection to a Community Group or CORE Group for at least one season (for example: attending a weekly prayer set and weekly CG from January through end of May.)

If you don’t currently meet these requirements, you’re still welcome to apply. While you may not be offered a role this season, we’d love to help you take your next step toward joining in the future.

Our Statement of Faith

We begin with the Bible, trusting it as the authoritative and trustworthy Word of God. From this foundation, we hold to the historic teachings of Christian orthodoxy as articulated in the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed.

The Gospel is the good news that God our Father, the Creator, out of His great love for us, has come to rescue us from sin, satan, death, and hell, and to renew all things in and through the work of Jesus Christ on our behalf, and to establish His Kingdom through His people, in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is for God’s great glory and our profound joy.

We also subscribe to contemporary summaries of Christian doctrine as expressed in the Lausanne Covenant and the statement of faith of the Langham Partnership.
