About Beneath the Apple Tree
Our name comes from Song of Songs 2:3 – "As an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my Beloved among all the others." Our heart is to know Jesus in this way, to love Him and be discipled by Him as we navigate the jungle city. This is a group for young people between the ages of 22 to 25 who want to grow in prayer, learn the Word and serve the city.
The format will include: Time of sharing and sermon discussion
Lectio Divina (Latin for “divine reading,” an ancient practice of engaging with the word of God)
Time of prayer (including listening prayer, practicing the prophetic, and intercession)
