About Prodigals: Upper East Side
Prodigals is a group for people who long to know the heart of their heavenly Father. Just as Jesus tells the story of the prodigal son returning home to the loving embrace of his earthly father in Luke 15, we want to contend for the Upper East Side of Manhattan to be a place where many people far from the Lord are received with joy into the family of God. We know that all of us, at one point in time, were pursuing our own dreams, desires, and plans outside of a right relationship with God. Instead of leaving us in bondage, the Father rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves. We long for those who feel too broken or unloved to experience adoption into the family of God! Each week we will gather to discuss the sermon series, pray for each other, and contend for God to renew the Upper East side.
